Sypnosis:
Sadie Drew thinks she must be the world's worst wife. She only needs to walk into a room to make it untidy. She wears flannel pyjamas in bed. Furry things breed in her fridge.
But she's a busy working mother not a wifebot and husband Tom loves her as she is. Until he gets a hot new job and things change.
There are alpha-wives to entertain. Nuclear rows. Unsettling secrets. And the smell of another woman's perfume on his suit.
Sadie risks losing everything if she can't transform herself into the perfect wife... But what is a perfect wide anyway?
Foxy Frangipani Says:

This is one of those books I really enjoyed reading; the type where I eagerly look forward to my reading time at every available chance.

Funny and light-hearted, the storyline was never boring or dragged too long.

I feel very much connected to the character Sadie haha. In a way I don't see myself as a housewife material lol. However, even though I dislike house chores I'd never grow fungus in my fridge, nor would I sweep rubbish under the couch / carpet. This is a lil too much me thinks :P

Losing the second baby was a lil mysterious. Why was the impact so huge, and evidently how man and woman handle the loss is very different. Many times, we feel the need to get a replacement to fill in the emptiness.. But in fact, all we need is time to mourn and get over it. Support from each other is equally as important.

Also this story highlighted a common perception about our parents finding second love. Many goes eeewwwww how could you!? Parents are also human, they have feelings and need companionship. Why can't we be a lil open minded about this..

The part that makes me feel connected the most is Tom's desire to climb the corporate ladder. It is indeed very easy to focus too much in the rat race; to the extend we take people around us for granted. We expect them to understand our needs, and support us whole-heartedly.

But in return, we failed to spend the quality time with them. Parents get old and die someday. Spouses / partners' feelings could fade. Kids grow up feeling distanced. How many "some other time" do we really have before its too late?

Wake up call. Balance up life now!
At least we try and have no regrets..

Overall, a great book :)
